Dean will \the Hluhluwe event be a marathon? Also are you referring to the Toyota 1000? If so I don't think it's taking place this year.

Good luck with the roof prepping!

Hey watch it you lot...us Natalians actually WORK for a living....we don't sit on msa and QT sites all day long Silenced Whistle

Dean, I am actually very keen to go and watch the quad roof, when is it being held? How does a marathon event work, do we race on seperate days from cars etc? I would not like be run over by Enzo Kuun or one of those boys flying up at 200km/h plus.... d'oh!

I would like if you can only ride in a series with the type of license you have.If the top boys buy a national license then they can only compete in national events and so on- You dont see Schumacher compete in the vw cup.
And i know what the next anwser will be but it is for practise. You can practise without scoring points and hunt trophys.

why dont the weekend worrior that have a problem with the top guys riding in the XCIC and Regionals go ride some club races ?
They ride everywhere they can to keep their sponsors name high , I bet they don't even bother about a small little trophy anymore...
They also ride XCIC and regionals to get fit and because they enjoy it... I haven't heard about a top guy complaining about slower riders blocking his path , he rides in his dust till he can pass... That makes him even better and he gets more experience from that....
I like it when I can compete against faster riders... In order to be the best , you should beat the best...

Thanx CJ, I will have to make a plan and go see this!!! So time trial is this for quads. ie is the quads also a National event? Sorry if rhis is a stupid question, but it was mentioned that it is a one day event, do I assume one day for racing or no time trials for quads? Just the raceday for quads? Anxious
